Owner, Project Manager Bob Morse has over 20 years experience in the world of technology including web development, online marketing, teaching and consulting. He has built and managed hundreds of websites for organizations both large and small. Bob is a self-taught web developer, having learned HTML by copying the source code from websites back when Mosaic was, well, the only web browser out there. He particularly enjoys helping people learn to embrace the often bewildering and fast-moving technologies of the online world.
Co-owner Video Producer and Accounts Manager Marianne Morse originally created the company as a video production shop after many years of work in television and film production. She has produced video for dozens of companies and non-profit organizations. She continues to work locally producing content for television and the web.
Developer, Programmer and Themer James Frasché is a native Eurekan. He is a veteran who served as a paratrooper in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has a computer science degree from Humboldt State University where he also studied robotics/embedded systems, technical writing, and higher mathematics. Programming specialties include unix systems programming, concurrent programming, client-server systems, programming language design and implementation, human computer interaction and user experience design. Jimmy was the technical reviewer for: Go in Action, Go Web Programming, and Go in Practice.
Designer, Front End Developer Damon Hart was raised in Eureka, California and Bozeman, Montana. He attended Eureka High School and The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington where he received a BA studying social work. After working for over a decade in social services, his love for design and technology led him to switch fields.
In addition for his work with Morse Media. he provides services as a freelance graphic and web designer. You can see his portfolio for examples. He also maintains a strong interest in supporting non-profit organizations and social justice issues. His hobbies include animation, photography, and fly-fishing, but his primary responsibility is to his cat Oumie. Someday, when he talks her into it, he hopes to add a dog to the family.”
Extended Team: Morse Media also works closely with a group of professionals and can call on these experts for help in completing specific projects. This group consists of videographers, editors, musicians, graphic artists, web developers and programmers. This use of an extended team allows us to keep our pricing low and our time management efficient, yet scale up for larger projects as necessary.
